We are announcing the day of our inaugural general assembly soon! Here are some more information about our provisional actions Three pillars for building peace in Cyprus

Peace is not built only around negotiating tables. It is built through relationships, shared experiences, learning and the courage to work together.

This is the idea behind the Cyprus Peacebuilders Network (CPN) — a new network bringing together people who believe that peacebuilding is something we can all practice.

Our work will focus on three pillars of action:

LOCAL ACTIONS — Building trust where we live

We will organise one-day trainings, workshops and interactive activities bringing together young people from different communities and backgrounds.

Through dialogue, experiential learning and practical peacebuilding tools, we will explore how to build trust, positive peace, cooperation and solidarity.

The goal is simple: not just to talk about peace, but to experience cooperation and learn how to create it ourselves.

INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE — Learning beyond Cyprus

Peacebuilding is not a challenge unique to Cyprus.

We want to connect with young people, peacebuilders and organisations from other countries that have experienced division, conflict or reconciliation processes.

Through international exchanges, study visits, youth programmes and European projects, we will learn from their experiences, share our own, and bring successful practices back to Cyprus.

Because sometimes, looking at another society helps us see our own differently.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT — Sharing what we learn

Peacebuilding knowledge should not remain inside workshops or among organisations.

We will develop articles, videos, podcasts, educational materials, interviews, research and digital content that make peacebuilding ideas accessible to a wider audience.

We want to document experiences, share stories, challenge stereotypes and make practical tools for dialogue and cooperation available to everyone.

These three pillars are connected:

Local action → International learning → Knowledge sharing → Stronger local action.

Our ambition is to build a growing network of people who don't simply hope for peace, but develop the knowledge, relationships and skills to build it.

Cyprus is our home. Peacebuilding is our practice. Cooperation is our method.
